Crossover


The Crossover is a soccer freestyle trick. It's not very hard to learn and that's why the Crossover is added to a lot of freestyle routines.

The Crossover looks a bit like Around the World. It's convenient to learn these two after each other.

The Crossover requires balance, ball control and first touch. All of these can be trained through juggling.

You generally use the Crossover to switch feet while juggling. That's why it's best to master the Crossover with both feet.

In Steps


Step 1
Start juggling. As a true freestyler, keep the ball below your waist.

Step 2
When you think you're ready, kick the ball up to around head or neck height with your dominant foot.

Step 3
When the ball starts to drop again, throw your dominant leg over the ball.

Step 4
Kick the ball up again with your other foot.

Tips and Advices


Hop a little into the air at step 3.

You should execute and step 4 at the same time.
