Tips and Advices

Make sure to go around the ball and not step over the ball. That looks very pitiful and it's not effective.

Practice the circling movement. You could even practice it while sitting on the couch.

Lower your body by bending your knees. This improves your accuracy and speed.

Mix your Scissors up. Don't always use the Scissor when facing an opponent. Try to make double or even triple scissors.

Pace is the most important in this move. The faster you get your foot around the ball, the more you'll confuse the defender.

In Steps

Use the Scissor move when you face an opponent. The distance between you and your opponent should be around 1 meter.

Step 1
When dribbling, put one foot next to the ball. The ball should now be on the inside of this foot. Keep around 15 centimeters free space.

Step 2
Circle your other foot around the ball. From the inside to the outside and all around to get the ball on the inside again.

Step 3
Touch the ball to the side with your other foot and dribble away.
